Leave Application Due to Coronavirus

The Vice-Chancellor,

The University of Mumbai,

Mumbai

SUBJECT: Sick Leave due to coronavirus

Respected Sir,

My name is Raj Patel, and I am a History student at your prestigious institution. The coronavirus, which has been wreaking havoc on many people’s lives, has also infected me. I had been experiencing symptoms for almost a week and had been tested for the virus two days prior; the results came back positive today. Doctors advised me to complete a 14-day quarantine at home, so I would be unable to attend courses for the next two weeks. I don’t want to go behind in attendance or academics, therefore a classmate will email me classwork and assignments on a regular basis so that I don’t fall behind in my class.

I respectfully beg that you allow me a two-week absence so that I don’t fall behind on my attendance and don’t affect anyone by being on school grounds. I am hoping for a prompt and good response. Thank you for your attention and time

Yours Obediently,

1101- Raj Patel

SUBJECT: Sick Leave due to Covid-19

Respected Sir,

My name is Vidya Singh, and I am a History student at your esteemed university. The coronavirus has been playing havoc on many people’s lives, and I believe it has damaged me as well. For three days, I’ve had a strong headache, nausea, a high temperature, and a sore throat, which are the fundamental signs of coronavirus infection. To be on the safe side, I decided to self-quarantine myself for 7 days, take medications, and see whether I get well; if not, I will get tested, and due to this I will be unable to attend university classes for a week if I don’t have the virus.

I humbly request that you grant me a one-week leave so that I don’t fall behind on my attendance and don’t risk infecting anybody by being on school premises if I have the virus. I’m hoping for a quick and positive response. Thank you for your time, attention, and efforts to make our institution a safer and better place.

Yours Sincerely,

1101- Vidya Singh
