      It is stated with deep reverence that I didn’t wear sarri on the theme day and for which I have to pay fine of Rupees 500. Madam, I didn’t know it was compulsory first of all, secondly I don’t have one and we are not able to afford a new dress. I request you to please cancel my fine.       With due respect and honour, it is to state that I am mother of one toddler as you know. I am dutiful and earned the reputation of willing worker. My section head had divided the duties and I had done my portion of work and submitted to her as well. There is no work left on my part, but I cannot stay overnight for this seminar.       I hope you will be fine and enjoying the best available in your life. In the college, we are taking internal examination and I am on the duty for invigilation for three days, but few minutes ago I had attended a phone call from my home that my father had passed away. I had to collect my family and urgently leave for the native land as soon as possible. Kindly grant me the leaves for a week to complete all the required rituals. I will be thankful to you for timely sympathy and favourable action.
