Subject: Request of leave due to making of passport

Respected Sir,

Greetings! I am Mr. Smidge Martin, an old employee of yours. I am appointed in the clerical department as head of accounts. I am serving this department from the last thirty years. I was young, energetic and unmarried by that time. Now time has changed ad I am no younger, energetic and single as well. I am a father to three daughters and one son. In the next month, my daughter’s marriage ceremony is due and as you know they are residing in Toronto and I am here for earning livelihood for them. I have to fly to them as I also want to enjoy the happiness of my beloved daughter. For that reason, I am expecting to get the passport from the concerned department. It is far off from my place as I live nearby this school to save the time for travel.
I am an old man and could not afford to cover the distance of 580 kilometers in one day. In other words, it will break my bones and I don’t want this to happen to me at least before my daughter’s marriage. I want two days leave for making the possibility of passport prompt and handy. In one day I will file the request to the respect department and the other day will be served in resting. Thank you for your time and attention.

Best Regards,

Mr. Ibrahim Martin,
25 th August, 2018.
