Train YOUR CHILD TO YOUR CHOICE

Train Your Child to your Choice

Why training? The question is very simple, I mean it sounds easy, but deep down it is hell difficult. Yes! It is. We all are aware and quite used to professional, academic development, but ever thought of training the character, building a human body into a humane self? Frankly speaking, we had never thought of it, including me, but a few days ago, I came across news that stirred my soul and compelled me to think about making human….. Humane. We all are forgetting humanity, day by day, moment by moment.

In any workplace, we train to get equipped with the all necessary skills to be called PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. We seldom care to be called human beings as we are living a delusion that we look human so obviously we are human beings! Is that so simple? If yes, then why the suicide rate, corruption, the crime rate is increasing, why society is becoming less considerate and tolerant? What is missing? My dear, my dear… training, training, and training is missing and this very segment gets its start from each and every home. By looking at a man, one should be clear about the females of that house, a queen always raises her male as kings and princes or vice versa.

7 years child is wise enough to recognize things, to differentiate between the two, and this is the very age to train him or her. Don’t raise your children on gender base, treat the both sex equally, for both are human being. According to me train yourself first, before you go for the training of others. Here are some fruitful suggestions for you in order to save this world from inhumane humans!Always listen to your child. Give them confidence that you as parents are their well-wishers, friends and beloveds too. Once this speaking-listening relationship is built, your child is harnessed well and tight.

Set rules and regulations for them. Tell them what to do, when to do and how to do. This process is too too lengthy and time taking as with boys repetition is training, repeat the thing 1000 times for years and then they might understand. Once understood by them, the results are everlasting and evergreen.

Be firm. Never be a puppet at the hand of your child, don’t feed their every wish, restrict them around need base. This will take their inner self to the outer world resulting in care, love and empathy for others. Always choose a middle and moderate way in each and every things.

Give logics. Whenever you are up to making them to stop doing something then do it step wise: sit with them, listen to them, guide them, tell them the consequences of the things, logically.

Always ask why and how question from the children. The reason behind this questioning approach is that it will excite their thinking process and automatically they will understand and critically foresee the situation which will save them from falling in any ditch.

Gather them on dining table/eating mat. Switch off TVs, mobiles in the eating times, have a cup of tea together. Make family time a happy time for them. There must be a bond, a connectivity within the family to get the things going on for eternity.

Prepare them for troubles. Tell children that this life is not a bed of roses, stop comparing your life with that of others. Tell them how to live a happy and contended life with limited resources, with less money or no money at all.

Teach them to care. Read stories to them that cater care and love for all human beings apart from their religion, sect, sex, race, creed, caste, and color. We all share the same flesh and blood, we all bleed, we all feel pain, we all laugh, and we all live, we all die. These qualities are common enough to declare us human beings. When we all look the same, then we all feel the same as well. Spend money, time, care, attention, and love on yourself and on others too.

Be happy, be human.

Immunity-Boosting Diet in Covid-19

Immunity-Boosting Diet in COVID-19

Human beings are social animals, stated as a definition in psychology. The very reason behind this definition might be the fact that we all love to roam around, curious about things we don’t know and we love to discover and explore things, places, ideas, and edibles, of course. Human beings tend to go to different countries and continents, giving the natives their culture and acquire their culture. This cross-cultural exchange has turned this world a global village, it is easier now to connect and exchange things, even viruses can travel/transported from one place to another. One very notorious virus is this which we all are facing nowadays.

Yes, you guessed it right! Its covid-19 pandemic that envelops the world in its deadly jaw. This virus, is an attacker of lungs; having sat on the lungs, it maneuvers the respiratory rate of that person, after muffling his breath, he pays attention on the other important organs and system of human body, causing him severe flu, bad and rapid dry coughing, high fever and intense body pain, by and by the person enjoys the journey to his death.

The situation looks truly sad, but where there is hope, there is life. Immunity is fed upon diet, by diet I mean, healthy food and division of it in three different times: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The human body is dependent on healthy food and fibrous, especially. Once the immunity that is the body’s defense mechanism, is strong or getting stronger then, and only then, it is not viable for the virus to suck the host or to shed down his or her body’s power. The question now arises that what should be the best and safe diet to build up immunity in order to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic?

The answer to this question is: you need not worry as we have a number of diet patterns that can help in building your immunity and strengthen the existing immunity cycle. We care for you and we want all of you to be healthy and alive. Here are some fruitful suggestions:

“Eat to fuel your body”One should eat a variety of fresh and unprocessed foods every day to get the vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber, protein, and antioxidants your body needs. Processed food curbs down the important minerals and protein-packed shackles into refined and finely grounded powder or paste. Such products are good on the tongue, but bad for the stomach, as it gets glued on the line of the stomach, hence not becoming the part of the active blood-making process.

Drink enough water.

Eat fruits, vegetables, legumes (e.g. lentils, beans), nuts and whole grains (e.g. unprocessed maize, millet, oats, wheat, brown rice or starchy tubers or roots such as potato, yam, taro, or cassava), and foods from animal sources (e.g. meat, fish, eggs, and milk). Avoid using packed or sealed products as we are not confirmed about their quality and taste. Prefer to eat fresh, and freshly looking fruits and vegetables.

For snacks, choose raw vegetables and fresh fruit rather than foods that are high in sugar, fat, or salt. To add up a fruity flavor, try a recipe of grated or chopped dates, dry fruits of your choice and mix the ingredients, form a tight ball or give it a biscuit shape, freeze the energy nutty balls, and use it up to 15 days.

Tips to recognize the fresh or stale:When buying for a fish, closely monitor the eye area of the fish, if it’s sunken inside, it’s a clear cut sign that it’s not fresh! Touch the skin of the fish, if it’s too tender, it’s again not fresh.

If you intend to buy vegetables, see the wrinkles. If the peel is withered or looking dry, then avoid buying such edibles.

Buying fruits can be tricky as many are washed in surf or oil to get the natural luster. Hold on! Don’t worry again. I have a simple solution, whatever fruit you want to buy, press it lightly and sense the juice inside, in the case of pomegranates, don’t buy cracked fruit, honey-coloured bananas ripen and best quality. Go for it.

Article on Gender Discrimination

Article on Gender Discrimination

Gender Discrimination means gender inequality. When male and female are discriminated because of gender roles are called gender discrimination. Gender discrimination has always existed in society but people have started to be more vocal about it now. There are still people who discriminate between genders. Gender discrimination between males and females are mostly because of salary at work. The survey in America showed that the female salary is 75% lower than males. This is a social problem that needs to be acknowledged by every person. Gender inequality exists in the workplace on salary, job racing, opportunities, challenging capability. In most of these cases, women are considered more inferior and discriminated, men are mostly paid higher and get promoted as compared to women. Women’s interpersonal and professional capabilities are challenged more in the workplace. In the past century, gender discrimination used to exist in education where men were given the opportunity to go to schools and get an education, and women were deprived of this right. They were married off early. Education is an important tool to live a good life. The study states that lower women education has a negative impact.

Gender discrimination is a big argument of the society which also brings feminism into it. As gender discrimination, female have a lot to suffer than men. Women all over the world are raising their voices for equal rights in every way. They don’t believe in the patriarchal system and the superiority of the men. This is a highlighted issue which brings the talk of feminism in between whenever women are killed in some country by the hands of men, abusive marriages, domestic violence against women are the proof that women are most suffered gender. In the 20th century, the young generation has taken an oath to bring equality.

Due to gender discrimination, the economy of the country can also be affected. States like America are doing well because their workforce includes both men and women but in Asian countries, women are not given the right to get education and work.

After a lot of protests and awareness, there is a change in society. People are more aware of gender discrimination and their attitudes have changed about the inequality of genders. To flourish the economy of the country, women and men both have to educate themselves. Helping female feel more confident and overcoming the gender roles should be the norm. Education is the right for every being and women have every right to get equal wages as their colleague’s men.

Everything You Should know about Corona Virus

Everything You Should know about Corona Virus

COVID-19:

First case of corona virus was reported in 2019 that emerged in Wuhan, China. COVID- 19 causes severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and has taken the form of a pandemic. This RNA virus has created a panicking situation.
Symptoms:

Most common observation is that the patients have dry cough, they feel intense pain in their bodies, have problem while breathing and fever. Other less common symptoms include, loss of ability to smell and taste, gastrointestinal issues and headache.
Diagnosis:

If one or more symptoms for corona virus are present or if the person has been exposed to a COVID patient, it is better to get tested. Labs take nose or throat swab samples and carry out PCR based tests to check for presence of virus.
Prevention:

As it is a contagious disease, people should:
1-Wear masks and wash hands after touching a surface.
2-Avoid contact and keep a distance of at least 5 feet.
3-Avoid meeting people who have COVID-19. In case of contact, people must stay in quarantine for at least 14 days.
Treatment:

At the moment, there is no vaccine in market for corona virus but clinical tests are being carried out by different companies. Plasma therapy is one effective way of introducing COVID-19 immunity in patients. In addition, antiviral drugs are also being used.
Myths:

There are some perceptions about corona virus that do not have scientific basis such as,

1-COVID-19 is the deadliest disease
2-Hot weather kills COVID-19
3-Corona virus only infects old people
4-Antibiotics can be used as treatment

In reality, none of this is true. COVID-19 can cause deaths but the greater percentage of people recover. Neither hot nor cold weather can prevent corona virus infection. COVID-19 can infect people of all ages and antibiotics are not used against viruses.

Vaccine for COVID-19

Vaccine for COVID-19

Introduction:

Many drugs and treatment strategies have been suggested for COVID-19 but they are not 100 percent effective. COVID-19 vaccine is the ultimate solution. A number of vaccines are being produced worldwide while some are in the phase of clinical trials.
Different companies and institutes are working to find the vaccine that has maximum efficacy and minimum side effects. Companies are taking different approaches for making the vaccine.

Nature of vaccines for COVID-19

Vaccines are divided in various types depending on the virus and immune system. At present, the vaccines that are undergoing clinical trial or are in preclinical stage include various types. University of Oxford is recently running trials on a vaccine that is based on non-replicating viral vector. Similarly, a university in Belgium and Pasteur Institute in France are in preclinical phase of testing their replicating viral vector vaccine. An American company” Moderna” is working on an RNA virus vaccine. These viruses have been successful in the past and are efficiently produced. DNA virus vaccines on the other hand, provide long term immunity and are comparatively inexpensive.
Apart from these, COVID-19 vaccines are also being produced by using inactivated form of the corona virus. Several doses of these vaccines are required to gain the immune response. Contrary to this, live attenuated virus vaccines are also being designed. These vaccines will use weakened viruses to produce fast immune response in human body with few doses.

COVID-19 vaccine: Sole treatment for Corona Virus:

Many treatment strategies are being utilized to get rid of the virus but they all have their own limitations. BCG vaccine has been tested against COVID-19 with no satisfactory results. Similarly, hydroxychloroquine has also proven to be ineffective against this virus. Thus, the fate of corona virus depends on the manufacture of COVID-19 vaccine.

Obligations of Doctors during Pandemic

Obligations of Doctors during Pandemic

1– Doctors should give utmost priority to their jobs in a situation of pandemic. The fact that doctors have higher medical knowledge, makes it an obligation for them to perform their duties.
2– In case no medication for the disease exists at the time, doctors should consult other professionals and give alternate medication only by consent of patient.
3– During a pandemic when people are asked to quarantine themselves, doctors should provide advice and care even on phone, social media platforms or emails. This increases the availability of doctors for a large number of patients. The risk to doctor’s health is also eradicated in this way.
4– Doctors are obligated to use their knowledge and advocate for issues related to pandemic such as governments’ responsibilities, legal matters and provision of necessary equipment.
5– It is obligatory for doctors to perform their duties without being partial. As the hospitals are flooded with patients during a pandemic, deciding which patients be given first priority is an important decision. A transparent selection system must be devised.
6- Journalism or media associated doctors have a great responsibility as the people look up to them. They should provide accurate information and remove any confusion among the public regarding the pandemic. Prevention is the key to safety and doctors should brief people about the lifestyle they should adopt.
7– Before the treatments are devised, deaths by the disease are inevitable. Patients who are struggling in the last stages of life must be taken care of on the basis of life dignity and human rights.
8– If the doctors are carrying out clinical trials, they must follow the medical ethics. In case of healthy participants, doctors must make sure that the person is well informed and consents for the trial. The trials should be designed in such a way that they impose minimum risks to the participants.

CoronaVirus Vaccine Trials

Coronavirus Vaccine Trials

Development of COVID-19 vaccine would be a turning point in this global pandemic situation. Scientists all around the world are working day and night to make vaccine and to find a treatment for this deadly disease. Countries such as China, USA, Japan, UK and Germany are working on multiple projects and some are already in the clinical trial
phase.
Ongoing Trials:

Different companies and educational institutes have created the vaccine and are carrying out clinical trials. Some USA based organizations include:

1– Novavax in pre-clinical phase

2- Inovio pharmaceuticals in phase 1

3- Moderna, which is currently in phase 2 trial

Chinese companies CanSino Biologics and Sinovac are both in phase 1 of the clinical trials. The Chinese company Sinopharm is in phase 2 of trials in china and has also offered to carry out trials in Pakistan. Similarly, University of Oxford, UK is very confident about the results of vaccine trials and is in phase 2/3.

Multiple Phases of Clinical Trials:

The first phase concentrates on testing on a small number of people to observe side effects. In the second phase the vaccine is given to hundreds of people. Third phase involves effectivity testing of vaccine on thousands of people. At this point if the vaccine shows no side effects and the regulatory agencies approve, it is ready to be introduced in market. But sometimes a phase 4 is also necessary to check long-term effects.

Expected Launch of COVID-19 Vaccine in Market:

As various companies worldwide are carrying out human trials on COVID-19 vaccine it is expected that a vaccine would be launched in 12-18 months. If clinical trials, that are being carried out at the moment, prove that a vaccine is effective and does not impose serious side effects only then it would be made available by mid or late 2021.

Lethal symptoms of Corona Virus

Lethal symptoms of Corona Virus

Covid-19 is creating alarming circumstances around the globe. The global death toll has crossed 3 lac and the number of cases is increasing day by day. A number of symptoms have been observed ranging from mild to lethal. Major concern are the people who have serious symptoms and are not able to recover on their own. Lethal symptoms that have been observed are:
1- Difficulty in breathing Hypoxia is common in COVID-19 patients. The oxygen level in blood decreases suddenly and the patients have to struggle while breathing. COVID-19 can lead to acute respiratory distress syndrome and it can be fatal.
2- Fever Most of the patients get fever and start to feel cold. The chills lead to excessive shivering and body temperature can increase to 100 F or above.
3- Body aches Joints in the body start to hurt. Muscle pain is due to the tissue breakdown in body, fatigue and tiredness, weakness and lack of energy. This can be so painful that sometimes the patients are unable to move or even talk.
4- Gastrointestinal problems Diarrhea has been observed in a great number of patients. Other symptoms include, abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea and loss of appetite. In very rare cases, bleeding can occur in gastrointestinal organs.
5- Pneumonia When the virus enters the lungs, fluid starts to fill in and lungs get inflamed. This results in chest pain, coughing and breathing problems. If the condition of patient goes out of control, this can be fatal.
In case of these serious symptoms, the patients must see the doctor immediately or might even have to be hospitalized. Corona virus is mostly lethal for patients who have low immunity or are old in age (above 60). Having preexisting medical problems (such as pulmonary or heart diseases, diabetes etc.) can also create complications.
