Subject: Request of leave due to admission of child
Respected sir,
Greetings Sir! , I have been busy in the office work and with this load it’s extremely difficult to fulfill family obligations. My only child has recently finished graduation and I am quite happy with his result too. But as being a parent, any individual is always concerned about the future of his child. For my child to enter his dream profession, he has decided to do M.Phil. (Master in philosophy). You yourself can understand the system of first and second shift in educational institutions i.e. day shift and night shift. It’s in our mentality to prefer the day shift and me being a working parent also has to be on the lookout for certain advantages.
I had applied for both situations and by fate my sons name was approved for the night shift. Though not disappointed but I was tensed for the extra budget of pick and drop too. But fate has intervened, luckily a student of the same institution, having his name in the day shift has dropped off and moved abroad. Now judging the sanctity of the situation, this may be my last and only chance to decide things my way.
I request you to grant me a leave of minimum three days so I can resolve this issue without any interference from office work, and to make my son’s admission in day time shift a possibility. Such that it will bare me advantages in the future as well. Sir, I hope you will understand, I will make sure to first complete my office dues so that it can function smoothly on my leave, I will continue the work as soon as my leave is over and the problem is solved.Thank you for your time and attention.
Best Regards,
Mr. Wickham Martin,
