Greetings! How are you sir? I hope you will be quite happy and satisfied in your blessed life and you should be. I am Mr. Smarten Martin and serving this firm from the last six years as Head of resource department. Health is wealth is a proverb that implies good will and a strategic plan for earning wealth and getting rich. Wealth could not be earned without health and I am eye witness to it. I was getting myself ready for office, but as I neared the office lane, a sudden pain dawned on me! It was, by God, merciless. I curved myself into a ball, getting firm hold of my stomach as the pain is coming from there.

Then and there, I decided to go to the nearest hospital for a complete satisfactory checkup and to my horror, I was diagnosed with an acute bacterial stomach infection. The doctor suggested me to take rest of two days followed by treatment. In this hustle and bustle, I forgot to inform you well on time for leave application. Now, from my bed I am writing you my request of leave with a request to please accept my apology and favour me the three days leave including this one which starts from 20th August and ends on 24th August, 2018. Prompt action is required in this connection. Thank you for your time and attention.
