Subject: Request for a Return of the Security Deposit

Dear Mister/ Miss _________, as you know that I arrived at your residence as a tenant at _________ (date). For ______ years/ months I have been a perfectly adequate tenant, and have had no complaints regarding your renter treatment either. Right now, however, due to some financial reasons, I do not see myself being able to afford your rent and am sorry to say that I have to leave you for the moment.
When I first arrived, I was asked to put down ______ amount in security deposit in relevance to my whole agreement, and I had paid it along with my complete rent. Right now, I have cleared all my dues and have gotten a good inspection result, and the only thing that is left is for me to collect my security and my belongings, and take my leave.
If you would be so kind as to wrap this process up as quickly as possible, it would allow me the concession to settle into my new place before the next month starts.

Graciously awaiting your response.

Subject: Deposit Return Request

Dear Miss/ Mister, I would like to inform you that I will no longer be living in your residence. When the new month begins, I will be taking my leave, collecting my belongings, and shifting out. Please note that this does not have anything to do with you, you have been a really nice landlord/ landlady. This only has to do with the fact that I can no longer stay because I have been transferred out of the city pertaining to my job.
Please find below the details of my agreement with you:

Amount of rent: _________
Security amount: __________
I had started my agreement with you on ________ (date), and understand that the agreement contained a clause stating that _______ amount will be depreciated against the security. However, I would like that you please return the rest.
The reason I am urging you to hurry the process is that I need to clear my dues for the next month begins. This is so that I can promptly leave the city with no business left untidy.

Regards.

Subject: Request for a Return of the Deposit

Hello, I hope you are doing well and are in perfect health. As you know, I am a tenant of apartment _____ and have been with you for the past ______ years/ months.
I joined you in ______ when I was initially paying a rent amount of ________ and was asked to pay a security deposit of rupees ________. I had paid the deposit along with the first rent, and am pleased to state that you have been a wonderful landlord/landlady all this time.
However, as of right now, I have to remove myself from your residence and move into a home of my own. After all these years, I can finally settle down in my own house, and it is because of this reason that I am requesting you to return my security deposit.
I have to gather myself and leave before the end of this month, so I would request that you quickly wrap the matter before that time.

Thank you for your kindness.
