SUBJECT: Sick Leave due to Covid

Respected Sir,

My name is Raj Patel, and I am a student of the Biology department at your university. The coronavirus, which has been wreaking havoc on the lives of countless individuals, has also infected me. I’d had symptoms for over a week and had been tested for the virus two days before; the results came back positive today. Doctors recommended that I stay at home for a 14-day quarantine, so I would be unable to attend classes for the following two weeks. I don’t want to fall behind in attendance or academics, therefore a classmate will send me classwork and assignments on a regular basis to keep me on track.

I humbly request that you grant me a two-week leave so that I do not fall behind on my attendance and do not negatively impact anyone by being on school grounds. I’m hoping for a quick and positive response. Thank you for your interest and time.

Yours Obediently,

1101- Raj Patel

SUBJECT: Sick Leave due to Coronavirus

Respected Sir,

My name is Vidya Singh, and I am a History student at your prestigious institution. The coronavirus has wreaked havoc on many people’s lives, and I feel it has also harmed mine. I’ve had a severe headache, nausea, a high temperature, and a sore throat for three days, all of which are symptoms of coronavirus infection. To be cautious, I chose to self-quarantine myself for 7 days, take meds, and see if I get better; if not, I will get tested, and if I do not have the virus, I will be unable to attend university lectures for a week.

I respectfully seek a one-week vacation so that I don’t fall behind on my attendance and don’t risk infecting anybody by being on school grounds if I have the virus. I’m looking for a prompt and favorable response. Thank you for taking the time, paying attention, and making efforts to make our institution a safer and better environment.

Yours Obediently,

1101- Vidya Singh
